I've had this for a couple years now, used it several times to help other people.

Which "something similar" did you buy?

Was a gift from the wife. Not sure if it was underpowered or what, but didn't do anything when I tried to use it.

Glad to hear this one worked for you!

Not sure if you fully read my post or if I was unclear but we have used this multiple times and it works great. Everything from a small compact car up to a 1/2 ton truck. We just haven’t had to use it on our own vehicle. I have no doubt if we personally need it that it will work just as well on our vehicle as it has on the others we’ve used it on.

Nice! I was tempted on that deal :anonymous: But didn't wanna get rid of my IO AK, got too good of a deal on it years ago and I'll never see those prices again on it.

OF COURSE I didn't fully read your post, It's Tacoma World! :D lol My post was a knee jerk reaction to the horrible experience I had with the one my wife bought me. I'm glad these work.

my first 7.62 AK was an IO on a Nodak Spud receiver built with screws instead of rivets. It was actually not a bad gun at all. Totally a Frankengun with a Polish wire folding stock and Tapco furniture, I replaced it with a Sig 556R that I still have

I found Project Farm on youtube and he tests out a bunch of commercial products super scientifically, he tested out portable chargers and said the Audew is the best.
