    This.

If this is what is taking so long for the final perf file then I would rather wait as long as needed.

If it's also integrated into VF tuner and someone is not happy with some aspects as it always happens then that makes it even better.

To have the performance and tow tunes in .vft format would be amazing!

You will never, NEVER please everyone with a single variant.
But when you give them the option to make it their own, who has the right to complain?

There is not a known TSB for the 2018s beyond 04A61, yet.

It depends what year. TSB-0062-18 is applicable to 2016 through 2018 ATs.

So what did the dealership do to complete the recall? I have the same year and ECU. I contacted the dealership to ask if the fix was a fuel pump replacement or an ECU update. They could not confirm.?

My fuel pump recall is scheduled for Monday morning. I pressed the service advisor about the software update they are going to do. They are going to do the radar sensor seal and update the software for that system. He claimed to have no knowledge of an updated ECU calibration for my truck. He also wanted to charge me $147 to do a diagnostic check. If they were able to duplicate performance problems, and attempt to repair it, then I would not be charged and the warranty would cover it. So, no 04B033 for me.

I am at the dealer now for the pump recall. They told me there is an update they released in aug-sept. I am pretty sure they are going to install it in mine along with the pump. I will get it dumped out of the ecu and upload it so it can be looked at. Mine is 2018 as well.

Thanks guys. I had the radar sensor fix already on my A61 which didn’t effect the tune. Curious to see what happens to your truck memphis. Thanks for being a guinea pig.

Just got out of service. No update needed or available. I of course am on A61. Just hope the fuel pump takes care of the running rough. I got the classic “that’s just a Tacoma” line again.

Dealer told me that about the torque converter shudder. I can’t wait to tell them I got it fixed.

I’m hoping so too... I have A61 and I have high, possibly unrealistic hopes that the recalled fuel pump causes my bogging and unpredictable rough behaviour tuned or stock.

What did you do to fix this? I’ve felt like this was probably my problem from the beginning.

And the fuel pump didn’t seem to make much if any difference.

No. The highest you can go is 04b04 on a 2017 truck. For now.

Yes. I would expect a new TSB at some point though.
