Easy day today, just added my First-Aid kit to the Victory 4x4 molle panel, and a new "TACO LIFE" patch from Tacoma Nation Time for a beer...

 

An absolute steal. Wish I were this lucky. Enjoy them.

 

Storage case mounted. Very impressed with the case Apache from harbor freight. Can’t go wrong. Very heavy and durable.

 

These tires is so comfortable I must thanks @neilbe4me for the help I was gonna go with 285/75/17 but I’m still waiting for the 5.29 gears probably the next time after these tires need to be replaced then I’ll upgrade to 5.29 and go 285/75

 

dude same, I spent a whole day trying to figure out why the bolt wouldn't catch or what I had done wrong, turns out 3 of the bolts they sent me weren't long enough. I let it sit overnight before trying again the next day, and it rained in the middle of the night and soaked the interior of my floorboards... I was pretty disappointed to pay a premium price and receive the incorrect parts. Pretty sub-par experience.

All that to say, now that it's finalized and installed, the rack looks sweet and is useful. I would recommend it to a friend, but with the understanding that it is not as simple and straightforward as I was expecting based on reviews and videos.

Perfect shoes for wheel rotation.

 

Installed the Pro Skidplate. Wasn't too happy with the rookie welds. And what a bitch it was to line up the 6 bolts while balancing the 50 lb. skidplate on my chest. Many loud fucks did the neighbors hear before I was finished. Looks awesome though. Though you just have to be under the truck to approve...

 

Sweet! I need one.

SO this was bugging the hell out of me today - so every day I do *one* thing to my 2020 Tacoma. Today - I took the striker plates and tailgate hang wire and painted it all black.


Figured as long as I was at it - it had three bolts on both sides of the gate that were galvanized - so painted them as well.


And yes - I did the two bed ties as too.
