Thanks, looks like it could just be cut and aligned then spliced together, clamped or welded.

I can’t confirm what model it came off of but it’s a good deal, so probably worth the effort to try. Thanks.

This is what I have that I've been using for over a year. I've got nylock nuts with rubber washers on the end pressed against the hood because they would bounce around at higher speeds with bad winds, now they're stuck to the hood and don't move from anything :)

Busted a 315k mile original Bilstien and put a pair of cheap duralast on. Surprisingly they ride incredibly good and gave me about 1.5 inches of lift.

Bed liner on the factory bumper and flares (and the gas door too, for that EXTREME CUSTOM look). Not pictured is the new-from-the-headers-back factory exhaust with a double coat of header paint to hopefully keep the rust down.

I've found that a layer of Krylon Fusion as a base coat/primer makes the bed liner stick much better. It seems to particularly help with limiting impact damage to the bed liner (chunks coming off) in cases where the plastic part deforms under impact but returns to (more or less) its original shape, and also makes it a hell of a lot more resistant to flaking under abrasion.

As with any surface coating, substrate preparation is KEY, especially on glossy plastics. Clean, dry, de-greased, and pre-scuffed with a brillo pad are the parameters for success with Fusion and plastics, and ambient temperature and humidity are also important. Basically... Follow the directions on the can!

Very nice work! I am surprised that you did not make the middle extruded aluminum bars "Left to right" adjustable and only kept in a fixed position. Is the front faring going to be light bar compatible? How much will everything end up costing you?

Thought I'd do a quick search to see if this had been posted anywhere and came across your post about a decent price on Rotopax. Buddy told me about a 50% off sale on their blemished items late last night so I bought a couple of the 2 gallon Gen 2 cans.

Got the @MESO dome painted and installed today. I also decided to paint the trim to match. Came out great IMO. I now have the power of the sun in my access cab :rofl:

Thank you very much. I thought about making them adjustable but for my daily I’ll never need to change them. Ladders, material, ect will go up there. I have an idea of making a complete cover plates so I can walk around on it. Maybe if i end up selling them I would make the middle 4 adjustable.

I’m on the fence about running a full light bar, I love the amber outsides for visibility. Here in the Midwest people are terrible drivers so I’d light to make myself as visible as possible lol. But I really have no use for a full bar as of now. I would only need to change one measurement on the cut file to add light bars!

I haven’t taken the time to add up what’s in it yet. If I did sell some they would be roughly about what everyone sells them for. I’ll get back to you once I add it all up.

I replaced my Dakar’s with icon RXT today, and left them on option 1. I gotta say, these are leaps and bounds better than Dakar’s and really not that much more expensive. They come with u bolts and bushings for $750, and an additional leaf is also included in that price. This allows 3 different configurations depending on your weight. They have more leafs that are thinner so they’re more progressive. They ride way smoother and the fit and finish is all around nicer. In closing, fuck Dakar’s. I didn’t know what I was missing out on.

(Dakar’s with bushings and u bolts is $650 for reference.)

Look at these old leafs. Less than two years old and all bent and wavy.
