I like it, I painted my trim white (only the trim around the infotainment screen). I'm not sure what you used, but there seems to be some orange peel in your paint.

Yeah maybe,I'm by no means a pro at painting but I used a plastic promoter then exact match duplicolor paint followed by clear for protection.

Yeah, the whole console pops out. Grab it on the windshield edge and pull straight down, then work the rest out.

I don't know about the door handle, but there are instructions out there about taking off the whole door panel (eg to install sound deadening), which probably talks about that part.

The door handle will come out pretty easy if you pop the door panel off (or loose at least). Not sure how to remove the lock and the handle though, but I bet when you pull the handle assembly it will be easy enough to figure out.

So I got out the mts unit, just pops out like other trim pieces only held in with clips.once out there is only one wiring harness to unplug.could not figure out how to separate trim from the unit so I went through the tedious process of taping everything I didn't want to paint.hope this helps someone cause I never saw anyone else paint this part.

I used plasti-dip and I actually removed it a few days ago. I removed it for a few reasons:
    • Plasti dip is textured, so it doesnt feel great
    • Reflects off the windshield
    • It didnt really match anything in the interior of my truck
Other than that, I somewhat liked it.
