My agriculture teacher in high school used to tell us to get in the van. If anyone ask where we were going he would always say “to see a man about a dog”. We would wind up at a store or McDonald’s, depends on how we had acted lately.

Either was a reward, we were out of class.

The fact that I’ve somehow managed not to bust out my back window will all the stuff I’ve slid through it is a miracle...

Landing and staircase for a sliding glass door that I just installed.

My wife sent me to the grocery store, our daughter turns 5 tomorrow. My wife is turning this into a unicorn cake. She’s a talented baker amongst other things too :D

Yeah,.. that would be another addition to the "never let borrow tools again" list. I practice and preach the always return the item you borrowed back in a better condition than you borrowed it mentality.

Normal length for a 6" Kurt. I used my wide angle lense on my phone for the pic

Agreed, even when I towed our Cub Scout trailer I greased the bearings and checked/filled the tires (including the empty spare!). It’s just plain respectful to return it better than you borrowed it!

Morning Creed! Been laying low this week, GM is on vacation and the workload has been heavy! But just like @tacobell007, it’s my Friday too!:D :amen:

Can y'all share the secret of the 4 day work week this week?

We listed our house and store for sale with a realtor this week and have already had one viewing. Hopefully it sells soon and we can get to a normal life and only working five 8 hour days instead of 13-14 hours 6 days a week!

We started the 4 10-hour day work weeks around the last big economy crash (‘08-ish) a lot of our employees at the time (including myself) have a 40-60minute commute to the shop, so we decided it would help conserve gas (at that time it was over $4 a gallon) as most of us drove full size trucks. Ever since then, it stuck as it’s really nice once you get used to the longer days.
Sounds like you have some huge life changes in the works, but it seems like it’s for the best if you’re working yourself to death. I’ve always held my quality of life standards high and personal family time is very high on that list!
I hope everything works out for the best!

We haven't even started looking. We would like to move to another county because land is cheaper and taxes as well. We'd like to find 20-25 acres so we can hunt and live but 20-25 acres in the county we live there's no way we could afford it.
