2019 Tacoma TRD Sport Premium Package, short bed
Hi, I just got a 2019 Taco with 13k on it. It is a Double cab, short bed TRD Sport with the premium package. Lots of nice dealer add on goodies that I didn't have to pay for since I bought it used.

I'm looking to do a remote locking tailgate, bed mat of some kind and a bed extender (mostly for cargo containment).

    Any recommendations on these?

Also does anyone know which oem tailgate remote lock part number I need for a double cab short bed?

    Thanks,

    Brent in San Diego

Welcome to TW. The Toyota bed mat runs about $80 or you can go to a farm supply store and get a stall mat for horses for about $40, but you would have to trim it to fit the bed of your truck.

Yes, I hear a lot of people like their factory bed mat. I have a neighbor who loves his bed rug but $400 seems like a lot.

I also really like the Matt Gecko LED bed lights. I already have a tonneau cover so, it is dark back there. I watched the YouTube install video.

I installed a lo-pro tonneau and found the LED bed lights really helpful, they are very bright. Also have the OEM bed mat, well worth it.
