I was under my truck the other day and noticed the transmission cooler lines are corroded where they meet the transmission. Is this normal or should i replace them ? It appears to be some type of compression connector. Thanks in advance.

Basically stock. OME 882s, HD Dakars and nitrochrgers, TG front bumper, custom rear bumper, 4Xinnovations sliders, RAT skids, Softopper, 255/85/16 ST MAXX's on 16" steelies, 1" B.O.R.A. wheel spacers Scangaugae II, deck plate mod, grey wire mod,ECGS bushing, diff breather relocation, alarm mod, defrost w/o compressor mod, de-badged, sockmonkey beside decals.
I wouldn't lose any sleep over them. If it makes you feel better do some kind of preventative maintenance to stop the corrosion. With you being in PA, its always a good idea to have rust/corrosion prevention on you mind with everything from these fitting and especially the frame.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
They're flare fittings, and those look fine to me. It's just galvanic corrosion from dissimilar metals and moisture. I might shoot em with some fluid film if you want to slow them from getting crustier since you're in PA.

Thanks men, I was actually looking at my fluid film treatment that I did and saw them!! They dont leak, I think i may try and clean them very lightly with a brass brush then coat them with fluid film.

That’s normal if you live in Pa.

I bought the truck in Ohio, but it had a Texas sticker on it and now it lives in Pa. So this thing Frame looks clean underneath , hitch has a little surface rust and these tranny lines, besides that its clean.

Look into fluid film and think about it . The stuff is awesome as far as protection (but is a mess if your under the truck working on it )

mine are perfectly clean here in so cal. 2013 n 110k miles with many trips in harsh snowy conditions per year.

Knock the rust off with a wire brush and treat either via some spray paint / fluid film etc.

I’m jealous of you guys with your pristine frames lol ! When they salt and brine the roads here even thou it might not snow, the crap makes your whole truck WHITE (which eats everything) . So if you don’t wash your shit like every week here all that salt and chemicals just sit on everything
