Had mine replaced today took 2.5 hours with an oil change, filled the tank backup and drove about 90 miles. Everything seems fine even averaged 21 mpg per the dash. Glad to have this fixed finally.

Took my 2019 in last week. Repair took about 3 hours, no difference in truck was noticed after warranty repair.
I walked in on a Monday, they had part in stock, I scheduled repair for Wednesday.

Took my 2018 pro in on Monday. Less than 2 hours was done. Filled the tank, already 300 miles on it and she’s good to go, still love the truck.

Beaverton Toyota called me to schedule actually I didn’t have to reach out. Then they called a few more times to remind me about the 1/4. The last time they added the time it would take to complete. I don’t like them to be honest. I should have told them no thanks when they called me the first time ha

No open recall for my VIN. Truck has no symptoms. I guess I'm good.

My dealer they said they drop the gas tank, they don't pull the bed. And they have plenty of pumps. There were 3-4 other Tacos there when I was dropping mine off.

Edit: I don't know how long mine was actually on the lift, but I picked it up about 4-6 hours after I dropped it off.

Thanks for the info. I'm probably going to go to Wilsonville. Bought mine at Lassen and they were great. Actually the only dealer in the area that would order what I wanted. But they are a bit far from my house for service.

Quite a few things at this point..
Just got my truck back this morning. Everything's great, feel like it's running a bit better than before, but no real proof of that lol.

I just had mine in for the oil change. The service advisor pulled me aside and asked if I knew there was a recall going on. :homer:

They said they ordered the part and expect to have it in a couple of weeks. They estimate a 1/2 day repair. When they call me then I'll drop it off. Not too worried about it otherwise.

I just picked it up. They kept it for 5 hours. Happy to report that the truck is still its sluggish self :)

A few weeks ago when I had my Tacoma in for the 2 year service, I asked about the fuel pump recall. Service dude told me they had cars behind the lot for months waiting on it.

Told him I was heading out on a road trip and it would be a bitch if it stranded me somewhere.

They gave me a 2020 4Runner to drive till the fix came in for my truck, even got to keep my truck in my garage.

They called today around 3 and said to bring my truck up and they would give me a ride home. By the time I got home he called and said it was ready for pick up. Just got back from swapping them the 4Runner for my fixed truck.

Couldn't have been more than an hour and a half. I even had over 3/4 of a tank of gas.

I would try Wilsonville if you can. I just dropped mine off this morning for the recall. 5hr job they said... Also, no shuttle or rental/loaner car. Solid service! ha

Well damn. That was fast. Mine just called and said they had a pump with my name on it. I asked them to schedule it a week from now so that I had time to burn down some gas before handing it over.

No, Beaverton Toyota. I live in Tigard so Gladstone wouldn't be close. Plus, Gladstone called me a liar when I told them the price Kendall offered me when I bought my 2018. Their manager had to apologize when I showed them the proof ha I hate Portland area dealers.
