Hello, I've done some researchIMG_7390.jpg IMG_7391.jpg IMG_7391.jpg but I'm not 100% sure what this button is for. I bought the truck from a Chevy dealer and they were not sure either. I believe it could be some kind of alarm but this 2014 Tacoma comes with the standard factory alarm. If you have any ideas that would be helpful. Thanks..

    OMG!!!! NOOOOOO! Don't push it.
Its the self-destruct button. You will only have 3 seconds to get 300 yards away from the blast zone.

Its some sort add-on. Have you pushed it? Have you followed the wire? It maybe just a small light.

    It’s the driver eject button.

Car alarm. May not be active. The dealer wanted to sell me an alarm. I didn’t want what they offered. Supposedly, they didn’t install one.

When I had one installed (much higher end aftermarket) the shop told me they had wired it for one. Wiring was removed and the parts returned. That’s what I got back.

Most dealer offered alarms are mere placebos.

Pretty sure that's a car alarm - I have something similar.

As other have said...likely a valet switch for an alarm. Usually allows you to deactivate the alarm and passive locks when you valet the vehicle or start the vehicle after you set off the alarm by opening the door with your key because the battery is dead in your key fob.
