Hi, I am new to the site so thanks in advance for any help to myquestion. My truck is an 06' tacoma v6 4x4. This morning my starter made a noise like it was straining. Not like from a weak battery but like it sounded different than ever before. When the engine started it sounded like it had no oil pressure, lots of valve tap noise. I put it in gear and the noise went away, weird. After that it ran and souned normal and has started perfect and sounds normal again. Could the starter have been stuck in the flywheel straining the engine? Is this common and is there an easy fix? this seems really hard on the engine so I hope to avoid this in the future. Thanks.
