I'm almost finished with this build. This project was waaaaaaay more work than anticipated but well worth it. I mean this was a free topper.

I see you cleaned it and painted it. Anything else you had to do to get it to look nice on your truck?

So while playing cornhole at a few months ago at a next-door neighbors house I noticed he had a topper sitting at the back of his yard. Come to find out it came with the house when he bought it. He said dude if you come and get it it's yours. So I said what the hell. Well, come to find out this topper originally fit a Ford F150 long bed. Which I think was 3' longer than my short bed and like 2' wider.
    '

So after stripping it all the way down to the frame I chopped it and welded it back together.

So after many weeks of cutting and welding, I finally got it to fit just right.

Then it was sanded, primed, painted, raptor lined the top and toolbox.

    Then waxed and buffed.

I also lined the inside with superflex carpet.

I hope to get the LED lights and door switches installed tonight. Then later this week I have some vinyl going on..
