    Greetings everyone,

I've been around this site, t4r.org, 4runners, (and other forums) for some time now and have always wanted to build a digital photo album of my vehicle progress. This is where we find ourselves!

A little bit of history, I just recently purchased a new 2020 4Runner ORP! I am no stranger to Toyota or the 4Runner. I grew up in Socal and was fortunate to experience Baja and all the wonders of SouthWest Mexico for most of my childhood. This was the beginning of my fascination with off-roading... especially trophy trucks! Although I have no intention to build such a vehicle out of the 4Runner, I still would love to look back and see the history of the vehicle I proudly call mine!

I seem to have digressed. I have owned a 1990 4Runner, 1995, 1997, 2003, 2008, 2006 (currently still own) and of course, 2020. I also drove an 02 Tacoma for a brief period of time.

Enough BS, below is the 4Runner in all its glory!

Installed the Bug Deflector today, even though every Tyler, Steven and Mary has this installed, I frequent trips to California from Texas and all my vehicles are plagued by small rock chips. This is my solution...

Good Ole FedEx, box was entirely ripped and instructions were missing but Youtube is great for that stuff.

Installation is pretty straight forward and super easy

Finished product came out looking like expected

FedEx graced me this morning with the Rav4 mirrors! The installation was moderately difficult due to girthy phalanges. If you have thinner fingers, this should take NLT 10 minutes.

FOMO dog in the right mirror (fear of missing out)

    Installation
    • Dent Puller (from any auto store. I paid 10.99 @ Autozone)
    • Gloves to prevent finger oil
    • It might be important to note: The passenger side 4Runner mirror does not come with the two prongs like in the 3rd picture below. The Rav4 mirror does come with these prongs however, it does not interfere with installation.

I attached the puller to the mirror, pulled straight out, and voila! Both mirror power cables disconnected instantly for me.

I would like to do this to my truck when I get caught up. Having the spot mirrors would be great pulling the pit.

Honestly one of the best mods I’ve done so far. Made pulling a 5x8 pretty easy, that smoker you have is no joke! Maybe I’ll have you for TWSS, and those mirrors be stuck in your stocking!

Yeup, easy as that!! The dent puller helps with getting even pressure but, I’m sure two flat heads or trim remover would do the same.

It has been some time since I've had the chance to post anything in here. From school and internships to not really having time to fiddle.

Since my last post I have added:
TRD Pro Suspension got for a killer price with Westcott Design already installed (No squeaks on the suspension yet, thank goodness).
    IMG_0084.jpg

Also added the TRD skid plate.
    IMG_0083.jpg

On order is an LFD wind fairing crossbar which will bring my total to 5.
I use the Ironman 4x4 2M Awning with the attached room for all my camping needs!!

This is how the 4Runner sits as of today:
I don't really have a plan to add many more mods. I like the look of the raptor lights and the heritage grill but don't think they add much value to what I use the vehicle for.
