Wow I didn’t think anyone still ran those! Everyone I ever knew who said they had one at one point said they “threw that piece of shit away”. I never had the opportunity to mess with them.

Seems to work just fine for me with the methonal!
13 pounds of boost 300 rear wheel hp! With 600,000 plus miles,
    I’m not complaining or concerned,

I can run a 2.1 pulley with zero ping too with no methonal, no fuel mods.

I’m not says it’s a solution for other people but it works fine for me

FYI that FMU or raising rate fuel pressure regulator is a "fuel mod" and probably why your truck doesn't ping when at higher boost levels. Very old tech toyota used to get around the lack of ECU tuning for our trucks.

High speed just sent me an email saying completion of just my rotary won't be until December. 6 months to do a job that shouldn't take more than a day. There is no way they can be that backed up.

Yeah that’s bullshit. Look into Stiegemeier.

Jon Bond has some seriously bad reviews and they always blame the customer. I wouldn’t trust them. That only really leaves Superchargers online or Stieg.

Superchargers online full rebuild is around 2k. They do not rebuild the rotor pack because technically (per Eaton) you can’t. They give you a brand new pack from Eaton. Because a brand new supercharger is only $3500 I say gamble with Stieg.

No fucking way am I going to pay 2k to rebuild a 3k supercharger and get 1/3 of the warranty, nobody should. That’s completely insane.

I ended up just going the Superchargers Online route for mine. I couldn't get ahold of THSL or John Bond, and I wasn't aware of Stieg, so I thought that Superchargers Online was my only choice left. While they're way more expensive than I would have liked, their customer service has been awesome, and they cut $200 off the rebuild price because I sent it to them already disassembled with the mating surfaces clean. I ended up paying $1500 instead of the normal rebuild + new rotor pack price of $1700. Obviously still a pretty Hefty price tag but considering you're getting an oem rotor pack that you won't have contact issues with like what can happen with the rebuilt rotor packs, I thought it was worth it.

Curious what the coating is like on the new Eaton rotors. Will it flake from methanol? Or is it more like a ceramic some people use?

I believe it’s just the factory Eaton coating. I don’t know much about coatings, but I’m going to be running methanol with it so I guess I’ll find out how it holds up.

My rotary is already at high speed lab. I guess until then I can buy some stuff to accommodate the supercharger

Anyone know off hand what size pulley or where I can get a replacement pully for the dynamic tensioner?

    Is that’s parts store possibility?

I’m in Los Alamos NM, about 1500 miles from home and mine just started making a lot of noise.

If it's not the spring, see if you can replace just the bearing and get the part number off of the bearing :notsure:

Carquest has Dayco 89241 in the company inventory - might not be a local brick and mortar near you unfortunately

Just an FYI, these springs get weak easily and the belt will slip if the spring is weak.
I replace the complete unit every 75,000 just to be safe,
I had slipping issues and after replacing the complete unit zero slipping

I had the bearing go out in mine this year and I was able to just replace the bearing. I posted the part # for the bearing a bunch of pages back in this forum.

Edit: I do have the URD pulley on mine, so I'm not 100% sure if it's the same bearing in that pulley as the one that comes on the dynamic tensioner.

We ought to put random part’s part numbers in the OP so folks don’t have to go digging through all the pages for the information. I’m sure someone else will need to replace that pulley in the future
