So I have an 09 taco, needs new tires but before I get new tires I would like to lift the truck up about 2.5 inches. The question is, what are my best options for a lift kit ?? What site would you recommend, and should I replace the shocks too ??

Headstrong Offroad seems pretty well regarded with excellent customer service, though I can’t offer a direct experience.

I personally would change shocks at the same time. There’s just no sense in lifting a truck and going through that effort and not changing shocks unless they are absolutely brand new.

    Welcome.
There are lots of options but I'd say, think about what you're going to do with it once it's lifted(open desert, slow crawling trails or mall crawler). That may sway you towards one setup or another, along with how much coin you have to spend. Not everyone has $3K+ for coils with bypass shocks but Bilsteins with OME springs are usually a cheaper, safe bet. There is a vendor list on here and a suspension sub-forum you could search thru.
