A quick test and it seems to work. I need to fully charge the battery.
It came with a USB micro to the phone so I had to use an adapter to USB C.

EDIT: I looked in the box again and it came with two cables, Micro and type C.

    Screenshots.

Pics from the mini remodel for our upstairs rental unit. We ended up working on it till 3 am and weekends for 2 weeks straight at the end to get it ready for Tenants.

Things we did: replace all receptacles and switches with decora style, new digital programmable thermostats, added usb outlets to the kitchen and bedrooms, replaced Bathroom, bedroom and a living room baseboard with cove heat, added top down/bottom up blinds to rooms, slow close hinges on evertrhing, new pulls on bathroom cabinets, new fixture in bathroom and new light/vent fan, fix grout and silicone in shower, redo sunroom wall and rip out old closet, add trim where missing, replace dryer vent ducting, new kitchen fixture, fix exterior French doors that wouldn’t close/seal, add trim to floor under door to cover up water damage, spackle every hole and drywall imperfection, repaint every wall and ceiling.

We haven’t added up cost yet, no clue on hours

I have a toilet that wont stop running.

    Simple, easy fix, right?

It would be if the water shut off valve would actually, I don't know, shut off the damn water.

Now I need to head out to get a new valve, shut off the water to the entire house and drain the line down to replace the valve first.

    :annoyed:

Switch it out with a 1/4 turn valve, those last longer

Most old stops are bad. Just part of the plumbing game. Are you replacing the flapper on the toilet? You can do that with the water still on. Not ideal but a lot faster then a trip to the store on a Sunday.

    Good to know.
No, I need to replace the float assembly, which I already have but I can't do that until I can shut off the water.

Gotcha. A lot of times it's a bad flapper that allows water to drain and caused the float to run constantly. If your sure the float isn't kicking off then replacing it is quick and painless. As long as your stops are working. lol

At least your finding out now and not when it's a true emergency. I had a customer who's young son broke the tank on their upstairs toilet. The angle stop didn't work and they couldn't access the main shut-off because they had lost the key to the lock of the door it was behind. I had them call the water dept to shut it off at the street. They have a faster response time then any of the plumbers in my area. It took about 30 minutes for them to get the water shut down. In that 30 minutes about 6K worth of damage was done to the home. So, yeah, replace that stop.

No, it's definitely the float. The water fills up so high it goes over the fill tube for the bowl.
Yikes. I've had my fair share of water issues (leaking chimney, faulty part on a fridge, failed part on a dishwasher, wife ran rice down the drain and clogged it (that was fun!)) but I haven't needed to kill the water to any of my houses before.

While I have the water off, I might as well check the other toilets shut offs!

I’d kick in the damn door or cut the whole lock apart with a sawzall before I let the toilet overflow for 30 minutes like that

Some people have zero mechanical skills and this woman is one of them. There's a lot that could have been done that wasn't. There's only so much I can do over the phone from 45 miles away and calling the water dept was the best, and quickest, option available at the time.

If you can ever get to the hinges on a locked door from the key side whoever installed that door is a moron.

I knew someone would bring it up. I can't think of a single exterior outswing door that I've installed in the last 15 years on residential homes. Yes, they exist but aren't used very often in residential construction.
