Had a brief email discussion with someone this morning on a used Taco. Anyone here have any input dealing with them? Thanks...thinking about heading up there next week if this Taco is still around when I get some free time.

Bought a Corolla from them almost 10 years ago. Great people to deal with. Told them exactly what we wanted, no more or no less. They had it, didn't try to add any options/extras, and gave us a good deal.

I can’t speak to the sales department, but service and parts has always treated me well. When I’ve had specific questions or unique work done, the master tech has come out to discuss / consult me on a few occasions.

Never went there but did visit the sister company up in Clermont, they seemed decent.
Ended up buying from autonation in winterpark, no complaints on the sales or service department.
After I lifted my truck and took it in for alignment, they sent it to one of their more experienced guys that is familiar with lifts to have it done.

Let’s just say that their service department is a joke at best.

I avoid dealership service departments except for recalls and warranty items. Which brings me to my battery nightmare.
I have a 84 month warranty Toyota True Start battery which died right before a trip, literally 8 hours before I was leaving. I knew it was under some sort of prorate towards a new battery so I wanted to leverage that if I could. But since I didn’t have time to deal with going there and waiting on them I swapped out a spare Optima red top I had from a project car I sold.
Once I finally had time to go there, they took 3 hrs 45 minutes to test and replace a battery, and I told the service manager I wanted to know the results and how much prorated value I had towards a new battery before they decided to replace it.
I told hem this because I wanted to know if it only had a little value, that I’d just eat the battery and buy one at Autozone so I didn’t have to be tied to going to a Toyota dealer if I ever had trouble on the road and needed a replacement fast.
So instead of telling me they replaced it, and stuck me with a $110 charge, took 3 hrs and 45 minutes, tried to charge me for $20 installation and shop supplies. (3 10mm bolts... really?)
I told the service manager I wasn’t paying for the installation and really didn’t even want a replacement Toyota battery for the reason mention above (unless it was nearly free) so he took the installation charge off and knocked 10% off the rest of the bill, at that point I didn’t care and paid to leave... this is where it gets even worse.
They told me they broke my antenna off in the courtesy car wash and the one guy who knew how to extract the antenna threads was out until the morning, and I should come back. I told them I wasn’t ever coming back and, told him to give me a replacement antenna mast and I’d do it myself. So I left. Not to mention, I wouldn’t trust one of these guys to drill out something so close to my fender.
    It gets better...
About a week later I go to change my oil, and find that the 3hrs and 45 minute battery change with 3 10mm bolts wasn’t even completed. They left the battery hold down off and it was about 1/2” away from grounding out my positive terminal!
I wouldn’t step foot in that place ever again.

    but that’s just my .02

I bought my truck in Texas (live in Florida). It was given years ago but I don't recall anything additional though...
