I have a Mobtown offroad hybrid bumper painted and ready to hopefully install this or next weekend. When I picked it up they told me I could follow the install instructions for a 3rd gen plate bumper. Unfortunately they don't have these on their website. Since they can't seem to be bothered with replying to customer emails I'm hoping that someone on here can give me at least some basic help on where the 4 brackets supplied with the bumper go.

Worst case, post a pick of the bumper & brackets. It should be somewhat straight forward and I'm sure members here can steer you in the right direction.

I agree that it probably is, and I'm sure I could figure it out if I had to. It just has me bent that after as much as the thing cost and then waiting 5 months to get it that I can't even get some basic install help from them.

Yea, I hear ya. Nothing against Mobtown. I bought a relentless fab...similar situation but not exactly. They responded to email but were still somewhat vague about what all of the included hardware was actually for. I figured it out, but I also understand how having no response can be somewhat irritating for you.

I just noticed you have a second gen. The install is incredibly easy since there’s no cutting at all. not sure why he recommend third gen instructions.

    -remove grille
    -unplug fog lights
    -remove bumper
    -undo aluminum crash bar
-using the crash bar hardware, bolt the bumper onto the studs.

that’s pretty much it aside from the extra brackets. One bolts into the swaybar bolts and has a long bolt that passes through the bumper, to the bracket.

The second bolts into the holes further back on the frame. Similar to the bumper I built.
