Wow...that's great!

 

Played Barona recently in east San Diego. My buddy and I went out just us two. Decided to play from the tips (blacks) since there was hardly anyone out there and we wouldn't be holding anyone up. Our dumbasses didn't realize we could've played the blues and the slope as far as our handicap goes would have been the same. So we sort of screwed ourselves by playing a harder tee box for nothing. Also, on the turn I had to get my driver head retightened, somehow it started coming loose. Thankfully it didn't fly off during a drive!

 

This is Orange Tree Golf Course in Scottsdale, I nice little track.

 

Anyone in the San Diego area played La Costa? Thinking of playing next Monday and wondering if it's worth the $100+ price.

Anybody ever played the golf courses down in Crossville, TN here?

 

Recently played McLemore Club in Rising Fawn, GA. Outstanding with beautiful views everywhere on the course.

 

Really excited to join this thread. Wife bought me a golf cart cover that is universal so it fits on the rental carts. Really nice to have protection from the wind/cold with doors. Icing on the cake is that she bought me a heater for the cart as well.

Super nice to be able to get out of the wind/cold here in the PNW. Looks warm, but it was in the low 30's in these pics...

 

I'll have to get a pic of the scorecard, but it should be noted that my wife and I had the some of the best rounds of our lives yesterday. 90 for her and 80 for me. I left plenty of shots on the course, but was stoked to hit 12 GIR's.

 

Looks cozy in there. I just got my Garmin R10 Approach simulator in the mail. Anxious to hit my new PXG irons I got in this winter.

 

I just spent the last hour looking at the r10. Looks to be pretty accurate for the price. The ability to "golf" on real courses seem cool. Might have to look into getting one and a net for the garage...

 

Goodluck finding it in stock. Been on a waiting list for 3 months then just happen to stumble on 1 in stock really early one morning here recently

 

I was ready to pull the trigger on the R10, but I decided to pony up the extra for the Mevo+. It’s been an absolute game changer. If you’re serious about your game, I can’t recommend it enough.

 

I'm actually quite impressed on the numbers the garmin is giving me. My buddy has flightscope and at $600 compared to $12K, I don't think you can go wrong.

 

Been a bit dead in here. Picked up a Garmin R10 approach, a mat and a net. Works pretty good for the garage and driveway use...





Took a vacation to Mexico and played a Nicholas course while there...







Also picked up a new PXG 0811XF Gen4 Driver and PXG 0311P Gen4 Irons...

Got a garmin and a projector screen myself this year. Love it

 

Got anymore details? Love my R10, but the chipping sucks. Really only good for driver/irons...

 

Been a minute since I've posted considering it's been winter and all. Took advantage of some deals over Black Friday. Picked up a new bag, and some new PXG's. Got the irons in a previous post and just got another driver, a 3W, 5W, 3 Sugar Daddy's (54⁰, 58⁰, 62⁰) and a putter. Not counting the bag, I have less than $2k into a complete set of PXG's. Not bad compared to other brands. Looking forward to some simulator golf as we just got a foot of snow...
