Not my truck, but the chrome bezel was on it's last clip the other day so I just tore it off rather than lose it while on the expressway.

Is this a part I can buy somewhere? From what I have seen it looks like I would need to buy a new grill assembly! I initially thought I would just have to buy some new clips, but the bezel seems to have the clips built in.

Should have mentioned I have an 09.

I looked a long time ago about swapping my chrome for a color matched bumper and from what I found, you can only find the complete grill as an assembly. Best bet would be to find a pick-n-pull around you and get one off a totaled truck.

I'm not sure what the dealership charges for them, but you can usually find them used pretty cheap.

I was thinking of getting the TRD grill. Here's my actual Tacoma.

The grill bezel has fallen off this is just sitting there.

I think a new TRD grill and weatherstrip would look nice. Then to add some contrast I was thinking of painting the front bumper and tire well trim black too (would like the black to match the TRD paint color ..would that be a matte or satin?). The tire well trim is peeling on both sides of the front, so I need to do something with that anyway. I think doing all that will give my truck a nice facelift and add to it's resale value.

What do you guys think? Also should this be its own post?

I like it colormatched the way it is. A new set of wheels and tires would give the it the most dramatic visual face-lift. Imo, painting the fender flares black would cheapen the look. Not sure exactly what broken clips you are referring to but most of those fasteners can be bought at places like autozone or Amazon. You might even be able to install a bolt and nut to hold the grill in unless the tabs are broken off.
    Welcome to TW.

Hm alright. The paint is chipping a decent amount on the front passenger side tire well trim and that was my idea to correct that. I figured it would be near impossible for me to use duplicolor to match it since the paint is 11 years old. Maybe I'll try to color match it first.

The grill itself is attached fine it's the chrome bezel. The bezel comes with built in clips that are broken. I was thinking about using JB weld or something to glue the bezel back on.
