    Hello from north NJ. I was looking for a decent commuter vehicle with a bed and started looking for a 1st gen 4x4 Tacoma. I drove a 1987 Toyota 2 wheel drive long bed Toyota truck from 1990 - 1995. It was a 4 cylinder with a 5spd and was a great 1st truck.

    I’ve always liked the 1st gen Tacoma styling and happy I found one. It needs unexpected work, but still happy to have it. Since 1995 I’ve owned, and still do, full size trucks. This Tacoma (2.7 4 cyl, 5spdis like a go-cart compared to what I’m used to.
