New lcas with Whiteline bushings and Mevotech ball joints. Also changed out the 5100 Headstrong 2" coil combo (885 equivalent) for 886 and OME sport struts. Gained about 3/4". Took about 6 hours, but I wasn't rushing and also was changing laundry and other stuff in between. Used a Diablo carbide sawzall blade on the 2 front bushings. Like a hot knife through a partial melted pat of butter. Other than missing some paint, it still looks brand new. Only hiccup is that the I screwed up when I installed the ball joints and have the grease zerks pointing in a direction that is going to make them tough or maybe impossible to grease. Hoping a 90* grease gun fitting will fit them, otherwise I'll need to get some 90* zerks and install those.
After that I decided that pulling the headliner and replacing the sharkfin would be an "easy" job. Got it done, but was more of a pin than I thought it might be.

Picked up a slightly used Gibson exhaust from a different model but cheap enough to make it worth it. Took it and got it welded in since it wasn’t a direct replacement.

Finally got around to repacking the winch. Was able to freespool it by hand with it just sitting on the ground which is a good thing for sure. Hooked it up to the truck to give it a test for good measure and all worked well.
I forgot the factory 55 fairleads do not come with hardware so tomorrow will run out to grab that then it’s time to throw it in.

@EatSleepTacos From how it was tested with no load on it, sounded great. I’ll throw a load on it tomorrow and see how it does.

    Bunch of Basic Taco mods.
Moved my in-laws today. Bunch of furniture and a king size bed. I swear I had the hardest working Tacoma in the whole parish today but they’re 80% done in one day.

A simple mod, installed 2 USB charger ports. One replacing a "12 volt socket" up front, and one in the rear end of the center console for the kid.

Getting to the bottom center panel on the dash was quite an adventure:

It was worth it, we have nice new ports now, with voltage readouts!

And the rear end of the center console (voltages are different because the rear is running off of an auxiliary battery in the bed.):

This is on my list of things to do. Just got to sort out if my driveline issues are transmission or something less expensive and sinister.

does anyone put hooks on that inner bolt?
I tried to on mine using spare OEM cargo hooks. But the bolt was too short so I threw them away.
Maybe another day if I can find the same bolt but longer. And with better quality D-rings/cargo hooks such as OEM Mopar from a Dodge Sprinter Van.
Because those are circular and can fold out of the way whereas OEM can't.
(though the Sprinter ones do stay pretty firm and require prying up with a flathead to get them up from the bed to use)

how hard is it to remove the eccentric bolts? Mine still turn to align it, but it's hard even after heat and penetrating oil
been wanting to take them out just to clean them up with a wire wheel/brush, coat them with anti-size, and put them back in
