You guys have all the fun ... !

I spent last Christmas in Canmore and did Banff, Jasper and the whole area for two weeks. Heaven on Earth. Didn't take the Tacoma, though. Had to fly into Calgary so I rented a Lexus GX. Damn thing drove like an absolute tank, though. Probably one of the most amazing places in North America. Wanted to go back for Thanksgiving but we are not allowed into Canada. :)

See you soon Alberta ... !

So happy that you love it up here, two weekends ago was camping in Banff, Tunnel Mountain.
Sometimes I think that we don't even know how lucky we are to have this jewel of a nature literally 3 hours from my home base Edmonton or if you're in Calgary...you are just about right there!
Thank you for the kind words about Alberta!

Currently, live in NY. Family in Quebec. Lived half my life there and am now here. My heart is torn between Nova Scotia and Alberta, though. :)

Hugely underrated place. So, I live in NY, but my family pretty much only vacations and Canada (most of my family lives in Montreal). I love the maritimes -- spent last Summer in Cape Breton and use never wanted to leave. But to me Calgary, Banff, Jasper, Canmore, that whole area is absolutely spectacular. I mean, Lake Louise, really?

Personally loved Canmore. Good food. Central location. It is one of my favorite places on earth. Good people, too.
