If I were going to do this I'd go with the one Bertw192 linked to.

How do you secure it from people stealing it?

Before I do this, I want some opinions. I have a 3rd Gen 5-foot bed. I recently obtained one of those 45° spare tire mounts for the truck bed. I purchased a Coretrax mounting system for the bed to attach the spare tire mount to. Of course, it won’t fit the Coretrax. So can I just drill through the bed to bolt each corner of the spare tire mount directly to the bed? A friend and fellow 3rd Gen owner said I would end up shattering the composite bed if I did this. Thoughts?

The easiest and strongest would be to put d rings in the bed bolts and strap it flat to the bed floor. Sell the Coretrax and tire mount in the 3rd Gen marketplace.

But, to answer your question, sure you can safely drill through the bed. Use large washers on the underside. Don't drill through the gas tank.

I'm relocating my spare to the bed to make way for the Archive Hh crosstube. I'm going this route, spare tire flat in the bed with a 3 point tie down.

but I'm having a hard time finding what i want...
    3 point ratchet strap:

i still need fasteners from its end connector holes to the d-rings. it's not complete so too expensive for that.

this one has wire hooks ready to go, but i prefer 2" webbing not 1.5", just for consistency with my other stuff.

I'm looking for a 3-point 2" webbing ratchet strap solution with hooks on the ends. i could piece something together myself but can't find the bits in the right length at McMaster-Carr. any ideas where to look or how to get this together?
