I tried searching but couldn’t find an answer for this one. There’s a lot of great information on here so thanks for that.

So, I recently replaced the stock speakers and I thought I replaced the door panels correctly. The next day I tried to open my passenger rear door and it wouldn’t open. I’ve tried from the inside and outside and nothing. The door seems to be locking and unlocking properly and it feels like the inside handle is opening the latch but the door won’t open. Is there another way to get the door open? Or a way to get the panel off with the door closed?

    Get in through another door.

sounds like you door handle cable and or door lock cable is not connected correctly

Pretty sure the solution is to pull on the interior lever, beyond the normal pull distance. The issue is that the cable did not properly secure to the door panel, so you need to pull to remove "slack".

@MESO didn't you recommend this solution?

That did the trick and now it’s functioning normally. Thank you! It felt like the handle was going to break but it opened right up.
