So is it normal that the bypass valve is not provided any tension(preload) from factory? I preloaded the bypass valve ever slightly and the internal s/c butterfly looks likes it's still closed when the cover is open but it's hard to tell. It barely moves unless you crank it a full turn to couple turns. Then by that time, the set screw is all the way down lol.

Also an observation about the smoothflow pulley. Stainless steel hub and aluminum pulley. Definitely lighter than the stealth pulley. Less rotating mass? Yes please! Wonder if it has any positive effects on wear and tear. Wish I had an NST s/c crank AL pulley.

***Would anyone be interested in a NST s/c group buy if they can make another run?

It's supposed to be closed when you take the lid off. If you are still unsure, provide pictures of your items in question.

Yes it is lighter rotating mass, no it doesn't affect wear and tear one which way or another.

For those of you who went from stock to SC, would any of you happen to have this part laying around and willing send it my way???
I believe it's a by-pass valve actuator on the stock upper intake. Thanks in advance for taking a look.

I broke the nipple off that the vacuum line plugs onto. I'm attempting to JB weld it together.

I saw it, and it’s what spawned my idea to do a dyno test on a N/A truck with headers and stock ypipe vs headers and urd ypipe.

Anyone here switch from a K&N intake to a AFE Momentum intake with the scoop? I know it’ll be an upgrade but kinda want to know how much of an upgrade it’ll be

I noticed that some mentioned they missed the GB for NST lightweight s/c crank pulley. That still a thing? Not sure how many participants NST need for a price break on a custom order. I don't mind
arranging the details but just wondering if there's any interest or it's a waste of time. Please message me so I can tally up an unofficial list

I got my HPtuned ECU from @JustDSM last week but had to help my sister move this weekend so didnt have any time to install it just yet. I also wanted to drive a little more on the UCon setup since i have only put about 100 miles on the truck since the battery was reset, and the UCon ramps up the tune as you drive it more. I'll have friday off this week, so im hoping to drive it some more, get the UCon data log, and then swap over to the HP tuned goodness. Hoping to have some information for you guys by the end of this weekend or next week sometime. Justin, do you have any experience looking through uTune logs generated from the UCon? My guess was no, but wanted to check with you just in case before reaching out to some of the UCon users in here to help me compare the two logs. I have little to no experience tuning, but wanted to check with yall guys and see if there were certain parameters you'd like to see compared? Please let me know if there is something you're interested in seeing so we can try and include it!
