Just had my new Leer 100xr installed today ... extras include: 3way power outlet, windoors both sides, dual lights with open door on, Thule rack guides, 8 heavy duty ceiling hooks, OEM key fob unlock/lock, carpeted headliner and rear sliding / drop down window installed $3200
Color match was pretty darn close, I measured the height of the rear flares before & after install lost about 3/4” but I have some #500lb summo springs that will take care of that :)

How do the sumo springs work? I keep going back and forth between onboard air with airbags and sumo springs.

Summo’s are airless ... basically an enlarged bump stop ... it increases its effectiveness the more it gets squished if that helps ya any

I installed after getting a similarly optioned ARE cap on mine. They replace the factory bump stops with a taller 4 ring progressive “cushion”. The 612-40s are what you want for 3rd gen. They say they don’t make contact with the frame on 3rd gens unless loaded, but mine make contact and raised me back up closer to stock height after topper install. I like them, they firm things up and reduce body roll in turns. They shouldn’t impact suspension articulation much since the weight on that wheel would exceed their loading capacity andsmash them down. Much cheaper than airbags and won’t leak, but don’t allow for independent adjustment like bags would. I prefer simple and effective.

Looks great and some nice add-ons. I’m trying to decide if I want a canopy. So many benefits and so many things I don’t like.

Congrats on the new topper  I went the ARE route, very similar to yours, with a lot of options. One oversight I had was the ceiling hooks. Good choice, those will surely come in handy.

Nice topper! Almost the same as my 100XR, but I added the remote lock/unlock, strip lighting, outlets, hooks, and ceiling net myself. I love the 2 windoors. So useful.

I also lost about 3/4" rear height after topper install. I had 612-40 Sumo springs installed, which brought me back up to about stock height, but made the ride in the back kinda harsh. They were great for when I was loaded up for a camping trip though. I just removed them and went back to stock bump stops about a month ago when I installed my Bilstein 5160/6112 + AAL lift. Kinda considering throwing them back on for when I'm loaded down now. They shouldn't contact the frame now when unloaded, due to the lift.

    manufacture?
    Thanks for your Military service.

That's a damn nice topper on a nice looking truck. The grommet in the bed to fish the wiring through is a nice install, wish the shop I bought mine new from would've done it similarly.

    Congrats:cheers:
