ordered a replacement Union from LCE. Its the 90 degree version, as I cant source the straight like I have now anywhere. I'll just have to get another molded hose and change that out again with it. should be good to go after that, as long as the union in the intake manifold doesnt fight me coming out.

got the old union out.. tried fitting the new 90 degree one.. and its not able to be installed without removing the carb and intake manifold. no clearance when screwing it in. So I either tear it all apart for that, or try and source a new straight union.

That's the same part number I ordered. I found the previous version from another toyota parts company, which shows a different part number. We'll see when it gets here. Worst case, I just try and match it at my local hardware store.

hopefully sourced one of these instead of having to machine one thanks to @BillDaCat8

And I've been researching and gathering info on the motor swap again recently.. 3uz on CL right now = 1200. Adapter plate plus all necessary upgraded parts and hardware to mate the 3uz w/ Auto Bellhousing to my W55 5 Speed = ~$1000. Custom wiring harness = ~$1000. Misc fab and other shiz = ~$1000..

    ~4k

My biggest hurdle and what I'm still looking into is AC and little electrical details. I also would like to convert the front end to coilovers, and the rear to 4 link at the same time.

    $$$$????

Really wanting to seriously start this adventure though.. I know I'll keep procrastinating on this (something I've always wanted to do) unless I just start ordering parts and getting after it. figure it out as I go.. my specialty.

Thinking the same with the 1 or 2J for the Supra. Just buy it and learn as I go but the prices are skyrocketing for those. But a V8 mini-truck sounds sick

There's a couple floating around here as well.. turbo noises are cool and tempting.. But I have always wanted a v8 mini.

Was gonna order my adapter plate and accessories through SupraStore.. and a lot of the other stuff from Northwest Toys. Between those w places I can almost source everything I'll need. Just CL for the motor.

Huge thank you to @BillDaCat8 for sourcing the Union I needed for the Mini. Got it installed, hose connected, re-filled with Coolant.. and back in action in no time. Can't wait to drive it tomorrow. Been a month. Lol
