    I started using LastPass as a password manager about 6 months ago when I had a few passwords get hacked. It's great because it auto-generates passwords for you and just install an extension on your browser and it will autofill your passwords and such. Works on mobile too. They offer two factor as well.

    I use Google's password manager and have two factor enabled on my account. Same idea, it generates passwords. It's great!

    I like KeePass better because it’s an actual encrypted file rather than a database. If someone can crack google or last pass they get everything.

    I'm pretty sure all of our stuff is out there, and "they have it". It just depends on if someone bought your info or not. Sometimes its just sitting out there.

    I am not against the password apps, and they must help, but honestly, if someone wants your shit, they can get it in 10 minutes probably.

    Just like I cover my webcam, but my phone is watching right next to it.

    There is always a backdoor with tech, which I view as one of the greatest evils in the world, even if I also understand its one of the most important ones too.

    I was holding my breath for the 5.0 Cummins V8 to come to the Tundra. Then Nissan got it for their "5/8 ton" truck. That Titan XD only lasted for about 4 years with the diesel option. I think it was a massive flop. Who volunteers to go and buy a new Nissan Titan? They are styled like they were in 2005, with hardly any updates or modernization. Its just sloppy. What a waste of a decent motor.

    If that 5.0 was in the Tundra, as a LOT of Tundra owners I talked to in my time at Toyota proves, it would've sold like crazy! They want something with more grunt and better mileage. Lots of people use their Tundras as work trucks, and it just doesn't have enough capability.

    I would be daily driving a Cummins Tundra :notsure:

    You say that, but the 5.0 in the Tundra would have suffered from the same capacity issue that the Titan XD did. On paper, it was nothing more than a half ton truck. I heard (when they were running) they pulled very well but legally, it was just another half ton truck. You got all of the complications of dealing with a modern diesel, you didn't really get the MPG gains you get from the half ton diesel options and none of the big diesel grunt you get by going with one of the 3/4 ton diesels. On paper, it was a fantastic idea, in reality it filled a void that never existed.

    Toyota, stateside, also doesn't really deal with diesels. I'm not sure I'd be convinced that Toyota would have done any better servicing the diesel Tundra than Nissan did. That was the biggest downfall of the 5.0 Cummins, it was a nice platform but Nissan had no idea how to make them run right. Customers had issues, dealers had no idea how to fix the problems, customers got really frustrated, word got out and the resale values plummeted ultimately killing that engine offering.

    As far as the rest of the Titan XD lineup, the 5.6 is a strong engine and the cab is one of the most comfortable I've ever been in. I'd consider the 5.6 version but it had the same issue as the Tundra. If I'm going to get 3/4 ton gasser fuel economy, I'm just going to buy a 3/4 ton gasser.

    Yep. 91k miles on it. I haven't even done brake pads yet.

    The shop I use is real good, he has worked with a transmission guy in Manchester for the past 20 years that rebuilds them himself with an upgraded torque convertor and fluid pump.

    No mine is the 6spd. It's a problem in these trucks. My mechanic says he has done 8 of them since March and there is one in the shop next to mine getting done right now.

    It's a GM, so I was nervous already... but my buddy who bought a Sierra the same week as I did had his trans fail at right around the same mileage as mine. So I knew it was coming. Out of 5 of my friends that all bought the GM 5.3L V8 with a 6spd in 2017, only one of them now hasn't required a MAJOR repair in under 100k miles.

    These GM trucks are SHIT.

    Yeah..... you're right... :pout: I just wanna diesel all the things.

    I was actually looking at EE20 swapping (Subaru 2.0L turbo diesel boxer motor) my Crosstrek in the effort of making it at least somewhat enjoyable...

    I'm just going to save my pennies and buy a F-250 DCLB with the blackout package in that ruby red... Hopefully they still offer those in 2035!

    I actually kind of LIKE the Titan! Well, the older ones. You said it though, waste of a good engine. They spent all their marketing time and funds on the stupid altima CVT shits.

    I thought the Titan had somewhat better mileage. The newer ones are meh but the older ones (and the Frontier!) are awesome trucks.

    Correction: GM transmissions are SHIT. Just look at the 8 speed in the coloardo/canyon. That thing shreds itself within about 20k miles. The 5.3 is bitchin', the transmissions are shit. And then they infected Ferrrd by working together on that 10 speed. So far it hasn't raised a ton of red flags, but Ford had no problems with their transmissions. Nothing good or bad to write home about. Now they let GM get their grubby mitts on the design of the 10 speed, what a terrible idea.

    When my Tacoma goes, I am really considering a 3.5NA V6 F150, and let that truck outlive me.

    I heard Ford did almost all of the development of the 10-speed and GM did the front wheel drive 9-speed as part of the deal. Then Ford didn't end up using the 9-speed in anything.

    As for GM trucks.. The only truck I would get from GM would have an Allison trans and a LB Duramax

    Hm, I didn't actually dig into it more than "Ford and GM worked together on the 10R80"

    That makes sense though.

    Oh, correction, I WANT the 5.0. I would get it in a mustang for sure. But the 3.5NA is basically the same thing as a Tacoma for a lot cheaper with more space, same mileage, and bulletproof especially with the 6 speed. It's way down the road, I've talked about like a million different "next" vehicles here already, Jeeps, BRZ, another Tacoma, a 4 banger tacoma, the NA F150, now a mustang....Probably Miata, Mazdas....yeahh....I'm indecisive. I do like a truck though now that I'm back in one.

    If I got the 5.0 I would beat the piss out of it constantly. Because it would be fun to. Good in a mustang, bad in a truck. I don't drive my trucks like racecars, I tend to be slow. I have semi's and old-man-in-hats passing me usually.
