    Hi,
I am in need a floor jack for home use. It will only be used a couple times a year to swap out my snow tires on my '15 Tacoma so I don't need anything fancy. Any recommendations out there? Am I naïve to think that this one would be all I would need? Thanks!

Would a 2 ton work, sure. That think only lifts 12” high though. Take a ruler out to your truck see if that works for you. If you have a prerunner or 4x4, you will likely want something that can lift higher.

You also need jack stands. Shouldn't really trust a jack alone.

The jack itself is probably too short. Says it tops at 12.75" and for comparison the jack I own has a max lift of 20". In front if I use the center jack point under the engine I'll be almost maxed before the front wheels have completely left the ground.
