What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I managed to snag one in cement. Anyone have any idea what it’s going to cost to get the key cut?

 

Any thoughts on how these compare to the Baja designs? They look similar and I am planning to get a set soon.

 

Yes, you are not wrong, but only if the new taller bump stops are made of cement like the stock ones. These new longer ones have more give and absorb the impact progressively. Same amount of travel, it will just get to the end of the travel at a smoother rate.
But really if the hit is hard enough, you are going to feel it.

 

couple hundred dollars difference and Diode Dynamics tested as best. For the SAE foglight i believe BD is around $400 and DD is $200

Yeah, you get a new key with the fob so all you're paying for is just to have it cut. It may vary where you go though

Used steel wool to remove the AVS logo...not my pic but cropped fr another TW member's post.

 

Put a TRD Pro style front grill from Taco Garage today, trying to get rid of all the chrome on my truck.

 

I always used a cotton ball and non-acetone nail polish remover. Wipes the logo right off.

 

As anticipated, I received my ECT always on module from @ funman1steve today, and it took 10 minutes to install it, and it works like a charm.
No more remembering to push that damn button every time I start my truck. Quickly shipped, great price, and customer service. Thanks Steve!

 

they do look similar and I can’t speak on BD, but I can tell you @crashnburn80 is the expert and you can read up on some of his threads comparing a wide variety, if not all, the options. He’s definitely the reason I went with DD instead.
