    I just wanted to present a different perspective. When I was a teen I spent plenty of $$$ on cars, I understand completely. So have fun with your truck.

    Nice, I got my Tacoma at a similar age and am an Eagle Scout too. I’d listen to a lot of the people in this form who speak from experience. That being said don’t let 2wd deter you from doing or going where you want. I have friends who I wheel with who can go everywhere I go with some careful line choices. Don’t go out by yourself and get into a stupid situation. Know your limits. If I were you I’d do a small lift, tires, and stereo. Topper or bed cover. Keep it simple but what you want, at the end of the day it is your truck.
