Cumberland is just about in full color in the surrounding higher elevations. The lower elevations are usually green for a while, then the rain and wind we had and keep having, end up knocking a lot of leaves down already.

Good thing you have that snorkel foarding that water puddle like that!
I have no room to talk though, after putting my snorkel on the deepest water I've been in was on 695 in a HEAVY down pour last year. I actually though I was going to need it.
Great looking Taco - hope we get the chance to meet up sometime.

    Thankie. Yessir.

lots of sanding, sanding, sanding, primering, sanding, primering, sanding, painting, sanding, painting and painting. In that order.

so 2-3 coats of filler primer with sanding in between, two coats of paint with sanding between and after, then a final dusting of paint. At least one wheel got 4-5 coats of paint until I was happy with it.

There are three ways up. The easy way is a maintained gravel road. A sedan could drive up it. The second is coming up by switzer lake. It's a bit bumpier but a stock truck could do it. The third way is up Union Springs road and is more difficult. That's where you'd want some minor upgrades to feel comfortable, though a stock truck *could* get up that way if you're experienced or have someone experienced there to spot you on your way up.

You can camp at the very top, known as flagpole knob. Near that is meadow knob, which is a large field. I typically camp here because there's more flat ground and the wind isn't as bad. Down near the lake there are plenty of camping spots all dispersed about. Just pick a spot and camp there. Off the trail obviously. There's nothing marked like green ridge.

Red arrows are areas to camp that I've camped before, but really anywhere you can set up that's out of the way, you're good to go.

Very cool. I like the attention to detail! Did you use that tool for all the sanding or was some of it by hand too?

What I thought. It's difficult to get the pressure right with a tool. They are gonna look good on. Can't wait to see them installed :goingcrazy:
