Don't think large sound systems are that common on here so you'll probably have to figure this one out yourself.

 

Piggy back or replace the alternator B+ to battery B+. Piggyback or replace B- to body stud. And then put a woven ground strap between any bolt on the engine block to the frame.

You shouldn’t need photos for this. Just find the biggest wire on the alternator.
The battery ground.
Literally any bolt location on the engine block to any location on the chassis.

You get one figured out? I’ve read somewhere that the alternator is regulated on third gens. I’m looking to do the big3 also. I’ve done a few in the past. The alternators on these trucks are tiny I’m currently running three 12s and a hifonics 4,000 watt amp.

No I didn’t try because I don’t know where to start. Lol. Did you have any success?

 

The big one is the one in the middle. The other two just hang around.
