Idler pulley help

    Im having some noise coming from lower pulley on my 08 OR/ DC got replacement part but cant budge the bolt and am worried about stripping it does anyone know if these are reverse threads on these idler pullies or any other tips. Im accesing it from bottom.

    Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
    Regular threads and locktite. Heat it and beat it.

    Tis a proven method above.

    ... in the absence of heat, one can beat it, as in a quick sudden "rap" (no music required), on the leverage end of your wrench / breaker bar / or 3/4 inch ratchet - will more often than not jar the fastener loose.

    If you are using a socket, I prefer the use of an impact grade 6 point.

    Conventional sockets will work, but can split... likewise are a 12 point, which can pull the corners of the fastener head if they slip.

    The heat will defeat the factory locktite, making this procedure less strenuous on the "beat" end.

    I prefer a pneumatic wrench, (aka air gun), that does the same thing as the "beat" method, but faster. This method also reduces the need for flame. :bananadead:
