Successfully passed NC state inspection

My truck recently passed the NC state inspection, again. Questions have been raised here about a few lighting changes I've done. The inspector did notice them, but passed them all with no questions asked.

1. Red LED license plate lights.


2. Auxiliary tail/turn/stop lights.

I’m impressed that the license plate lights passed, but during the day you can’t tell how difficult that plate is to read.

 

Woah Tullie with those red tag lights it’s just a matter of time here in NC some local cops pull you over let us know when haha

 

Yeah...while “cool” that they passed inspection, the inspector is doing you no favors, as you’re ripe for a ticket later on down the road and will attract unwanted attention at night in general from LE.

 

@Tullie D are your Auxiliary Turn, Stop tail lights a kit ? where can I get one ?

 

I'm not worried about attracting attention from LE.

I am, I keep my tag lights white but a little dirty in case I have to go on the run again due to some unfortunate misunderstanding.
