Hey guys so finally ready to buy some new leaf springs. Obviously a custom deaver pack is going to be the best but I'm trying to keep the upgrade in the sub 800 range. My rig is my daily but I do go wheeling, have minor armor but plan to add more. Between the old man emu and icon which would you guys choose?
Has anyone had a chance you run both?

Also any other brands other than the 3 I've mentioned you would recommend?

What's wrong with simply holding off for a few months longer to save up the extra cost for the Deaver pack?

Save up for the deaver pack. I went with the deaver pack and it’s what I should have done from the beginning. It feels like stock but it has all of the benefits of a heavy duty leaf pack

Who did you buy your leafs through?.... what did you try before deaver?

I have the Deaver U402 Stage 1 leaf pack and it's worth saving for. Plus, it's just barely over $800. I think I paid less than $900 OTD. With upcoming sales events, you may want to hold off.

There is Ironman as well. Some people have gotten this set and removed one of the leaves until they get more weight. I’ve got the one without the leaf already in but don’t plan or adding much armor.

I had stock springs with blocks trying to carry 800+ lbs constant weight. I bought U402 Stage 2 leaf packs from headstrong OffRoad and I can’t feel any ride difference between these and the stock springs. They’re that comfortable

If you get the OME springs make sure you grind down the leaf that strikes the shackle otherwise whenever you compress the spring there's a loud bang. Unless they change that between the time I got the springs and now.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but what shocks did you pair your Deavers with?
