Repainting my first gen any color ideas?

If you guys have pictures or any color recommendation I’m open to everything.

 

purple

 

black will show every imperfection
metallics will fade as will reds, yellows and blues
whites and greys hide dirt the best

remove the outside door handles before they paint it as the painters helper will just mask around them and effectivly seal that door handle to the door and when you have to replace the outside door handles, well, now you have 2 problems.

regardless the color you do choose within 1 month someone will either loose their shoping cart, open a door aginst it or just be an ass and key it.

 

Hot pink.

No worries about theft.

Although, the laughter may drown out stereo.

Imperial Jade Mica

Why?
Because that’s what my 99’ was, and I liked the color.
Plus, I miss that truck a lot.

 

A modern color like Quicksand or Cement might look cool on a first gen.

Paradise blue would be my other loud favorite:

But tan / desert sand and white with the 95 graphics would be right up there as well.

That's a legit recreation from Toy Story! One thing when it comes to graphics, which OP may not even want so it's a tangent:

I am not a fan of old graphics on newer trucks with mismatched bodylines. I'd like to put the 95 graphics on my truck, but even with a 98-00 or 01-04 I'm not 100% it will look good.

Yellow's a nice color on that truck though and maybe a little more shiny look on a 1st gen would be cool.

 

The same paint color/code as it left the factory.

 

I painted mine the army green the new pros have.

 

Even threw in the Pro badge on the doors
