Stuffing

 

Recipe from my mom off the top of my head for roughly a 15lb Turkey. I would need to physically make to be more accurate. The liquid ingredients are more of a feel than exact amount.
3 loaves of wonder bread (tear into small pieces)
1 complete celery stalks chopped
2 onions chopped
2 cups of butter I think
1 cup of milk
Salt and pepper.
Mix by hand in large bowl. Consistency shouldn't be completely soggy. But not dry either.
Open the ass of the bird and stuff ingredients from bowl into the bird until full, then open the neck area and stuff full in there. Should be a little left over.... continue to place it on the back side of the bird around the leg joints and pile it out. Cover pan in foil. Open foil for the last 30 minutes or so to let brown.
Cook for approximately 8 hours at 325/350 depending on the oven.

That's really similar to how I've had it growing up just add some extra seasoning. I've never actually made stuffing as an adult because I spatchcock my turkey...or at least attempt to usually.

 

I think that @G8R_Taco did time for spatchcocking a turkey. I told him that the turkey shouldn’t be alive when you attempt that but he just won’t listen.
