It is but if it keeps you safe and rubber side down I'm good. Most vehicles in general are getting to this point and the more EVs come out it will soon be full on computer control.

I get it, but don't mean I got to like it...kinday miss the older vehicles where we are more in control. Guess I am showing my age more as don't necessarily feel we need all of this tech at times.

I'm right there with you. I have loved working on cars as I grew up. Always been into hot rods and older cars. For reliability and drivability though I do want to drop a modern power train into an old car though. :)

Now if I'm guessing right many of these performance vehicles give you ways to turn off the nanny devices though. lol with that much power I'm not sure how stupid I would get though.

I do agree with you on the reliability from the newer tech for the older cars, really like the idea of taking an older car and doing a retro build on it with newer suspension etc.

Heck ya that's how you do it. I would love an older charger and stuff the drivetrain and suspension from a Hellcat in it. I know where to get the drivetrain but they want on avg $10k for it.

Nice, I would like to see pics of that

    It would be fun

There is an old Cuda sitting down the road from me, no suspension or drivetrain.... have been tempted to ask if they want to part with it.
