I found a headunit for my truck at a low cost. I wanted to please it the screen on mine stopped working but needed to know what sort of adapter I would need to make it work like oem. I have Xm radio and don’t care too much about steering controls as long as the volume and skip buttons work (unless it’s easy to add them). Any help will be appreciated, Thanks.

I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure it’ll be easier to swap in an aftermarket unit.

What connectors are on the back of the factory radio? Unplug the old radio and compare plugs. You may luck out... Plug and play.:fingerscrossed:

Edit, jbl to jbl.... Non jbl to non jbl.

Like the OP said - you need to pull your stereo to check the connector types and compare. Also, going from JBL to JBL and non-JBL to non-JBL should be relatively easy in most cases but going JBL to non-JBL or vice versa is much more tricky.

In my experience there are lots of little differences between years and JBL vs non-JBL. Seems the older models (say, maybe pre 2012) had one connector configuration for JBL and another for non-JBL. Then for 12-14 it seems they are all jumbled and then I think the newer ones get consistent again.

I swapped a 2014 JBL entune into my 2010 JBL equipped truck. I think this was one of the harder ones to figure out. I got a great price on the radio and while I'd seen lots of radio swap info online I hadn't seen anyone run into the same exact swap I did. There's a lot of good info out there regarding the harnesses that are available. Scour the diagrams and then build your own harness. Here's a post I made asking some questions as well as some info and pics of what I ended up doing. There are some good threads out there, it's a lot of reading but IMO worth it, I'm very happy with my setup.

    Sorry I don't have anything on a 2015.

I would just compare old to new and see what I have first. You could get lucky.

You’ll have to search but I know for a fact it has been done. Was reading a thread here about it, just don’t recall any of the specifics.

The 2015 Entune non-JBL was plug and play fit in my 2007. Your chances are very good you'll see the same. Agree on the comments regarding JBL. Its a very different design with different speaker system and you'll likely run into complications in doing that
