I cheated and used a chocolate premade crust.
You could probably cheat further and use the extra thick cool whip instead of the heavy cream.

Its chilling now, will report back with my impressions. First time making this.

I've had mine chilling for about 3 hours now. The recipe recommends to freeze it. Its fine cold, like soft serve ice cream.

I think next time I do it I'll try the Reese's brand peanut butter and maybe 1/2 chocolate chips and 1/2 mini Reese's Pieces.

    Still damn good either way.

What a freaking weekend this is turning out to be. The back neighbors have a small dry shed/in-law building about 4 feet off the fence. No way meets any setback requirements. It's been there longer than I've been in my house (20 years), and that house has gone through several owners in that time. I have no issue with it and it's never been a problem. The water main runs along the backyards property line (not out in the street), and my water main shutoff is on his side, between the fence and the build. I have an easement to access it via a gate in the fence.

Yesterday morning we were woken up to the sound of a large generator in the neighbors back yard. They started remodeling the shed/in-law building so I figured the gennie was for power. That continued for more than 12 hours straight, into the evening. 12+ hours of loud generator had us on edge, then around dinner time we lost water. Knowing where the main is and where the construction was happening, I figured they shut off the water to work on it.

Mildly annoyed they didn't give me a heads up, I went out to see what was going on. When I got closer (it was dark now) I could see the back of our yard was flooded and the water was coming from under the fence. Talking through the fence, over the loud gennie to the construction workers, turns out they broke the main. They said it was being repaired. There were no water department employees there. I called our very small water department and left a message with the answering service with all the details, numbers and addresses. No return call. Called several times and nothing.

Get up this morning - more flooding, water still bubbling out at a copious rate and no one in in their yard working in it. Call water company, answering service, left message.... finally got a call back and was told they are working on it but no other info or ETA.

I believe they are putting plumbing (bathroom and kitchen) in the building, without a permit, and the contractors busted the main, then tried all day and evening to fix it rather than call the water company. I've found out the water is out over a large area, so I imagine this is going to blow up into something. Many neighborhoods going without water for a weekend is going to attract attention. The neighbors have been good neighbors, so I hope they come out ok.

The pool in the pic is where my trunk line meets the main and where the shutoff valve is located.
