That or somewhere in the SE. my 1995 grew up and has pretty much stayed in northern Alabama (other than road trips) and she doesn't even know the word 'rust'. When I bought my 2015 (most of its life in northern Georgia but 1.5 years in Illinois) dealer kept saying rust free absolutely nothing. I had them take pictures before I sent a family member on the 7 hour drive. They show up and there is of course minor rust.. family member says 'what do you call this? Its rust
I guess to them it was rust free but to other people it ain't shit but to Southerners they cringe at the smallest amount
    Born and raised ROLL TIDE

Glad you got some new leaf springs on the cheap @Gilmore6080

She was born in CA (Fremont) before they closed the plant down.

    Northern CA

Lived in northern IN by Chicago with mh Chey and hated the rust, salt, snow, mud, wind and below zero weather of the midwest. FTS

My local dealer called me up one day and said bring your '06 in for some new leaf springs. I was aware of the recall but had never acted on it. The service adviser told me they were replacing all of them because they can break and puncture the gas tank.

Had mine done but they tried to jack me around until I had enough. As I was walking out a women and a tech followed me out and saved they day. She was the manager with the lead tech who was listening to me the whole time talking to the dim wit. They spoiled me after that. They even installed my AAL into the new pack(dont tell anyone)

Had the dealership call me a few months ago. A friend worked there and I didn't want to leave the vehicle there so I just picked up the parts and installed myself. Was satisfying to say the least. I don't like people working on my truck, something always gets missed or messed up.

    I called today, and I have a 2013. Didn't work.

He said it was VIN specific.

When they did the frame on my 05 -5 years ago they put the springs in the bed and said mine where ok and didn’t need to be changed
Toyota keep sending me the recall notice but dealer said they would do it.
I called corporate and next day got a call from the dealer and said bring it right in
They did the springs but charged me for the u bolts because they cut old ones off
    I had 1” blocks

You can’t align the rear, no adjustment.
