really i'm a saints fan. down here in la (lower Alabama) with my four week old 98 first gen taco. 42 year iron worker retired 63 yrs old. moved my sister-in-law in with me and the wife and she basically gave me the truck for my trouble. so i sold my car and paid off most of her bills, set her up with a new checking account and fixed her SS, medicare, supplemental, and prescriptions. bought four 15" kynda,s and put 'em in the car. drove 300 miles from Dothan al to Gulfport ms, and mounted tires for the trip home. after i toped the fluids, straightened the front bar, and polished the TRD i decided it's a keeper. has a few dings not worth fixin' and every thing works. even the ac! found an aluminum shell that all three windows swing open. trimed the top 1/2 off the factory bed liner and tucked it under the lip. now i'm waiting for the 200 to buy it from my buddy. questions to follow as i dig deeper into it. this should be fun, thanks for having me.

thanks for all the flowers, glad to be here. In anticipation of buying a used shell my neighbor has i changed my bed. The shell is aluminum with three swing out windows. 200 seam like a deal to me. it clamps to the bed lip but my liner covers that up. so i took a plunge saw and made a cut 1/2 inch down the inside along the top and tucked the liner under the lip. built a 2x4 frame 9" tall with 1/2 inch marine deck on top to raise the floor. granted this only gave me 5" of usable space under neath but i made the two draw's (?) using 1x4's on the sides, 4 2x4's from side to side with 1/4" ply wood bottom. It worked out nice. when you pull them out and can see inside the three cargo spaces that makes the first four feet, the extra bed length 1x4's prevents it from tipping out. working on pic's. remember when you could take a photo without satellite time?
