No. That was the road I camped on. There’s a nice spot with a fire pit right before it drops into the hard part. Pretty nice spot aside from the group of straight piped Razors that drove through at 10pm lol

I actually spoke to the game warden about that road in particular and he said that one was fine (why that one was fine and the one I tried was not I have no idea lol)

Was it just an open trail or did it have a gate? Like the gate was open but there was a gate?

I agree. I’m curious to know more about what’s legal and not. We rode everywhere out there as kids/teens and never heard a peep. Also, I hate it when they say they’re “doing you a favor” by fining you less. It’s either the law or it’s not...shouldn’t be any gray area.

I don't agree with it.......but ignorance of the law doesn't seem to work out to well.

I'd pay it. They might even throw in court cost and a bunch of other shit if Preston decides to fight it.

That said, I don't agree at all with the gubment tax(ticket). A warning should have been plenty.......especially if he wasn't tearing shit up.

Making a winch anchor out of the skid plate that didn’t fit! Trying to mimic the pull pal design, not sure of the next step lol

Things like this are taught in hunter safety course that unfortunately don’t seem to be required to the level that they used to be. There should be more education on rules/regulations of the national forests, but it seems that the funding isn’t there like it is in other states.

Probably should warn folks that truly don’t know instead of ticket them, but I would imagine drunk teenagers take away all of their patients. I would imagine that’s why they put this language in their maps. There is really no fighting it.

Made the support for the arms out of 4 long pieces from the skid, gonna weld these to the top and then try to use the longest piece from the skid to attach the shackle portion. May need to make some diagonal support that connects the middle of the triangle piece to the arms. Still have no idea what I’m doing just winging it

I had a buddy try to make one in Australia years ago. He gave up and bought a collapsible boat anchor instead and used it a bunch he said with no issues. LOL

If @gixxerphil doesn't end up making his trailer work, you could always use that as an anchor point. It's just a bit tougher to lug around and bury when you need it. hahahhaha

Yea I should have checked, it’s on me. But I have to imagine most people are like me and don’t check, they really need some signs out there. At the very least, something at the beginning of the trail saying “don’t deviate from the road” instead they just have this one sign...
