Full time, Blue Cross Blue Shield. Currently a claims adjuster but I've worn many hats in 20 years. Trying to take that next step up the ladder but I fear at this point that's not going to happen unless I leave the company.

Part time, running 2 dart leagues. Currently dormant due to Covid19.

    This gives me hope.

I'm a Sr Accountant/Financial Reporting analyst for a real estate portfolio that specializes in senior independent living communities. But my passion is conservation of wild game species and natural habitat.

Every for-profit corporate accounting job I've ever had has led to burn out quick. They all promise "work-life balance" but never deliver. I'm hoping to transition to a federal accounting job, preferably with the US Army Corps of Engineers, in the next year or so. In the US, the USACE is probably the largest conservation organization for job availability by virtue of the fact that construction developers have to submit environmental impact statements and the fact that the USACE is closely involved in maintaining and promoting water cleanliness.
