I have a new 2020 SR. I do not have Auto headlights. If I turn on the headlights or parking lights durning the day it dims the stereo display where it’s so dark I can’t see it. If I have Apple Car Play on Nav it dims it where you can’t see it also. I’ve turned up the brightness control by the speedo up but it doesn’t really change the display. Is there any way around this?

Take a peak at the om. If I remember right there is a dark mode and daytime setting. Could be wrong, but thought I read that when I was setting everything up.

You have a '20 SR and I have a '19 SR5 so I don't know if this will work for you.

"Apps" >"Setup" > "Display" > "Adjust Contrast/Brightness". To change nighttime settings you will need to have your headlights on and "Day Mode" checked.
