Oh I'm not in that boat luckily, I can't see into the future but I don't see it going there either. Though I'm sure a lot of guys have said that lol

 

Ya'll got these fancy pre-existing conditions and I'm just over here not having been to a doctor in over 10 years wondering why I haven't been able to open my jaw fully for a year.

 

When I was in my 20s I rarely went either, maybe a couple times total not counting urgent care if I had the flu or something, or when I broke my foot. But I certainly didn't do any regular checkups in my 20s.

I have this weird jaw thing where it pops like hell sometimes on the right side, especially when eating. It's annoying as fuck

 

Tmj. Likely grinding ur teeth nightly. High dose anti inflammatories and use of night guard for teeth to prevent recurrence

 

Probs needs to be realigned tho with it stuck at a certain range of motion. Seen ER docs do it and shits sick haha

Maybe that is it. I don't know, it was getting bad and popping for a year and a half leading up to where it is now. Now it never feels quite right and just doesn't open all the way, and if I try it kinda hurts. I know I clench, I catch myself doing it all the time during the day. I finally have great insurance coverage so I'll get a real checkup done. I've been having little recurring headaches that are gone as quickly as they show up, just like a sharp jab or pressure, then recedes. I'm probably falling apart, wouldn't surprise me.

 

That definitely sounds like teeth grinding. My wife has to wear a nightguard for it, used to give her headaches too until she did. She gets pissed if I point out she's wearing it lol.
