    //End Edit

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We wanted to take sometime to thank you all for your loyalty, and most of all your support! We take feedback, suggestion and opinions from folks on and off the forums seriously regardless if it's one or many sentiments as it always helps us improve and become better at what we do. Companies that hear folks, and implement/adapt to feedback will always thrive, and so you all have helped us cater to the TW family and outside community by speaking your mind.

A big request was a 100% plug n play kit for the 2020-21 Push to Start trims that other wise currently (but not for long) requires a single wire snip to work. The 2016-19 PTS folks never had to deal with this and so as we get wrenches thrown at us from auto manufacturers and their advancing technology, we must adapt to not only keep up, but stay AHEAD of the industry.

So, we are going to be releasing our 100% plug n play kits for 2020-2021 Push to Starts in November (hopefully by second week, if not sooner!). Four of you on here are already rockin' this setup and got the first ever sneak peek to provide feedback. We understand that by making this statement, we are going to likely get a slowdown or "hold off" until it's here, but that's ok for two reasons:

    1) We don't want any buyer's remorse since we're very close...so consider this fair warning :)
    2) Many folks have stated that they WANT to wait in order to support us, so it's only fair to give you all that are loyal and supportive a notice that is more than "soon" or "indefinite" or even "working on it". To us, that MEANS ALOT. It's the number one reason why we love what we do.

With that said, this is only a TW PSA. This thread is not a product, brand, service, support, or anything else related discussion. So we kindly ask that you don't post about other companies in this thread, bashing or not. We only worry about ourselves and commend the others in the game as there is plenty to go around and everyone has freedom of choice. There are other threads discussing those subjects respectively. If you're happy, we're happy, regardless of where or what you bought. And if you're not, we'll change that.

If you need help, or have questions, again regardless if you are or aren't an N2 product user, we're always ready to assist and have in the past as the bottom line is this: this is a forum, and it exists to help each other when we all can because while we may be knowledgeable on certain subjects, others we're not. But when we pull this pot of knowledge together, there isn't anything we can't do, create, solve, resolve, and so on. So don't hesitate to reach out. If we can help, we will, and if you have a creative idea or suggestion on improvement, tell us, because at the end of the day, this is why we're all here :)

    Guess what these do...:D

Hate to question you guys as I know you are doing great work. I have a 2020 TRD OR and just use the app to start the truck. What would this do differently for me?

Is the new MY 2020+ 100% plug & play version only for push to start? Is there a p&p version for the H key also?

Nothing, your kit is already installed. This adapter will be integrated in a few weeks so that 2020+ kits will be 100% plug n play, just like the 16-19 have been and will be.

Unfortunately not at the moment but this may be our next one up on the drawing board for a revision...

We ventured down this road once, it's something we've shelved at the moment due to bottlenecks in our R&D pipeline.

Will the new kit change for the Manual Kit already out? I don't want to grab that now if it is going to be different and improved.

Will not change. Like the HKEY Auto, one cut. Unlike the HKEY Auto, one tap in addition to that (not a cut).

If you're talking about our smart module versus Toyota's Remote connect which is $96 a year, and if you don't pay it, your OEM fob is disabled after the trial period...who does that...

Our smart module plan includes the first 12 months for free, then the app will prompt you near the end of the trial period with two options:

    Option 1: $39.95 for 1 year, or
    Option 2: $99.95 for 3 years

If you know you'll have the vehicle for 3 years or more, and not budget prohibited, then Option#2 saves you $20 rather than renewing on a yearly basis at $39.95.

Furthermore, check with your insurance company as some offer discounts for having a GPS tracking device which is also a part of the control app.

If you're talking about the fob 3X start/stop portion of our hardware, there is nothing to pay anyone nor any subscriptions. Not sure if this answers your question as I wasn't to clear on what you are asking?

    Thanks!
    Jimmy

That smart phone thing is worth it. I use it mostly for lock/unlock but sometimes if I'm taking too long in the store I can hit the remote start for another 15 minutes for the dog. Install is easy (as long as you read the instructions clearly before starting instead of going giddy up and diving in and then reading the instructions....:spy:). And they just added a temperature gauge on it. Not sure if that's coolant temp or a sensor in the module, haven't used it yet. We're getting toward the cold season up here :( Cool to see Jimmy is still doing dev with this stuff. You still have to run that wire up under the center console over to the passenger side?

The N2 stuff is good too. Highly recommend.

Thanks brother! Means a lot and very MUCH appreciate YOU and the support!

Temperature is inside your cabin...we added a negative temperature coefficient type on-board thermistor that reports temperature based on resistance changes due to temperature deltas and is processed with our onboard A2D, and reported back into a value (in F or C - your choice/app setting) based on the digital conversion.

So yes, wire still has to be ran through center console but when you make it to the other side, you mate it to our newly released, "snip-free" T adapter, finally making it 100% Plug 'n' Play!
