Yep...it's a little involved, but most of the stuff just pops off with clips.

FWIW - I recently shipped a package to PA and it took 7 days to get from my little suburb of Denver to the Denver post office less 10 miles away. Then it took two days to get from Denver to PA. USPS is a shitshow right now.

Sorry dropped off all these yesterday so should start seeing them in route. I was packaging all weekend, but couldn't drop off till yesterday. I will add the 2013-15 model is a little easier with the nav unit. Ill add to littles post and or link the original guy post for install.

i think only thing to add is on the 13-15 trucks with nav radio its easier to pull out radio as one unit vs bezel on top being ome. I used this to install mine.

    Install Instructions:

1: Remove the AC panel by prying it out and then unplug the two electrical connectors.
    2. Remove the 4 10mm screws holding the stereo in, unplug all of the connectors and remove the stereo.

For the next step I do not have pictures but this youtube covers it very well:

    3. Remove the 2 push pins above the main instrument cluster that hold the instrument cluster in.
    4. Pop out the right side of the panel covering the instrument cluster (this needs to be done to facilitate removing the stereo dash panel.)
    5. Pull gently on the dash panel that surrounds the stereo and remove it; your dash should now look like this:
    6. Take the stereo surround panel, the AC controls, and the 2 brackets and mock everything up on a bench.
    7. With the panel, AC contols, and brackets mocked up, mark the 4 mounting hole locations. Do this carefully as there is no going back with the filler drill.

    8. Drill the holes using either a 5mm or a #7 drill (.201").
    9. Peel the double sided tape off of the backing plate and carefully press into location so that the nuts align with the drilled holes. Make sure the tape holds! This tape is only to hold the backing plates in place until the dash is reassembled. The tape is not load bearing once assembled.
    10. Reassemble all of the dash in the reverse order of dissasembly; stereo surround panel , instrument panel, stereo , AC controls.
    11. Screw in the brackets using the 4, 10-32 x 1" screws. Get both screws started before you torque one all of the way down so that you do not dislodge the backing plate from the tape (by causing it to spin). Allen size is 1/8" but a 3mm will probably be okay.

I got my part today too. Thanks.

I had not seen the backing plate before. IMO, the backing plate surface area should be larger to lessen the chance of mount becoming wobbly.

I have one of the original versions and the backing plate is MUCH smaller and I’ve had zero issues over 30k+ miles on and off-road with a phone or tablet mounted. The mount will be just fine if you install it correctly just my 0.02.

glade to hear this, was not much to go off of for the back plates so i built them small enough but big enough to work based off what i could see if that makes sense. Im just happy to now have a tablet mount.

Received mine today as well as many others. Just finished installing, took about an hour. I marked the holes to drill, before and after removing the dash components, and was still a little off requiring me to enlarge the holes a tad. Got everything snugged down and could not be more thrilled. Can't say thank you enough @Coop68 for bringing this product back!

Plan on uploading some in the morning! Figured it was too dark. Also, DON'T BE A DUMBASS LIKE ME AND FORGET TO PLUG BACK IN YOUR 4X4 SWITCH!!! Just had to tear the dash apart again just to plug the switch back in. On the bright side the backing plates and everything held up so I have no doubts about them going forward:bananadead:
